Addresswell, LLC
Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated October 10, 2026 · Effective October 10, 2026
Addresswell, LLC respects the intellectual property rights of photographers, writers, brokerages and everyone else, and expects people who use www.addresswell.co to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright and how users can respond, under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

2. How to send a notice of claimed infringement
If you believe content on the Services infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (for multiple works, a representative list), such as the photograph or text;
- identification of the material you claim is infringing and that you want removed, with enough information for us to locate it, such as the listing or profile URL and which photo or document;
- your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Notices that do not substantially include these elements may not be acted on. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Before sending a notice, consider whether the use may be authorized, for example by a license the photographer gave the listing brokerage, or be a fair use.
3. What we do with a notice
When we receive a valid notice, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material, notify the user who posted it (and the listing’s workspace owner, where applicable) and provide them a copy of the notice, which may include your contact information. We may also notify the listing’s brokerage. We may forward notices to services such as the Lumen database with personal contact details removed.
4. How to send a counter-notice
If material you posted was removed and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter-notice to our designated agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the material that was removed or disabled and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Addresswell may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or that person’s agent.
When we receive a valid counter-notice, we send a copy to the person who sent the original notice. Unless that person tells us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the user from the infringing activity, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after we received the counter-notice.
5. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, and may limit or remove the ability of others to post content. Generally, an account that is the subject of three valid notices within 12 months that are not resolved by a valid counter-notice is treated as a repeat infringer and closed, and we may act sooner in serious or willful cases. We may consider any valid notice, counter-notice, history and other relevant facts, and we keep a record of notices and the action taken.
6. Listing photographs and media
Many copyright questions on real estate sites concern listing photographs. Professionals who publish listings confirm, in a recorded statement, that they have rights to every photo, document and other media they upload. A photographer’s license to a listing brokerage may limit how long or where photos may be used; professionals are responsible for following those terms and removing media when a license ends. If you are a photographer or brokerage and see your work used without permission, send a notice as described above or contact the listing professional directly.
7. Other content reports
For content that may violate other rights or our policies, such as trademark misuse, inaccurate or unauthorized listings, fair housing concerns, private information, harassment, or fake reviews, use “Report this listing” on the listing page or “Report” on a review or conversation, or email support@addresswell.co with the page address and a description of the problem. A report made with these tools is not a DMCA notice; for removal under the DMCA, use the notice process above. We review reports and may remove or label content, contact the poster, or take other action under our Terms of Use. Trademark owners should include proof of registration and the specific use they object to.
8. Changes
We may update this policy, including our designated agent information, at any time. The “Last updated” date shows when it last changed.
