Your account
Signing up, signing in and account settings
Do I need an account to look at properties?
No. Anyone can search, open listings, view photos and contact a listing agent. A free buyer/seller account adds saved properties, collections, comparisons, saved searches with alerts, and one place for your messages.
Create a free accountIs a buyer/seller account free?
Yes. Buyer/seller accounts are free, for renters too. Only professional workspaces for agents have monthly plans.
Why do I have to verify my email?
Your account becomes active after you open the verification link we send. It confirms the address is yours, so replies, alerts and password resets reach you and nobody else.
I didn’t get the verification or reset email. What can I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder and make sure you typed the address correctly. Links expire, so request a new one from the sign-in page if an older link no longer works.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Choose “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page and enter your account email. If an account uses that address, a reset link is sent to it. New passwords need at least 12 characters.
Reset your passwordCan I sign in with Google?
Yes, once Google is linked. Create and verify your Addresswell account with your email first, then link the matching Google account in Account settings. After that, “Continue with Google” signs you in.
How do I change my name, email or photo?
Add or replace your photo in Account settings. Your name and email are shown there but can’t be edited in the app yet, so contact Addresswell support to change them.
Account settingsHow do I control the emails I get?
Account settings lists each kind of email, such as alerts and product updates, with its own switch. Every alert email also has a link to turn that alert off.
Email preferencesCan I use the same email for a buyer/seller account and an agent account?
No. Each email belongs to one account. Agents can still save and compare properties from their own account, so most people only need one.
How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?
Account deletion and data copies are handled by Addresswell support, so we can confirm the request comes from you. Email support from the address on your account.

Search, filters, the map and drawn areas
How do I search?
Type a city, ZIP code, county or address, then narrow results with property type, price, beds, baths and more filters. Homes, rentals, land, new construction and commercial property each have their own search.
Start a searchCan I switch between the map and a list?
Yes. Choose Map, List or both side by side. Moving the map doesn’t change your typed search; use “Use visible map area” in the Draw menu when you want results for exactly what’s on screen.
How do I search a specific area I draw?
Open the Draw menu on the map. Freehand lets you trace a shape, Place points builds one corner by corner, and Use visible map area takes what’s on screen. Results then only include properties inside that shape.
Where are the rest of the filters?
Choose “More filters” to see options that fit the type of property you’re searching, such as lot size, garage spaces, HOA, pets or lease terms. The button shows how many results match before you apply them.
What does “Sponsored” mean on a listing?
The listing’s agent paid to promote it. Sponsored listings only appear when they match your search, are always labelled, and rotate with others. They never change the listing’s details or price.
Why can’t I find a property I saw before?
It may have sold, been rented, been withdrawn, or be under review after a change. Listings also leave search while the agent’s plan is inactive. If you saved it, it stays in your saved list with its current status.
Why is a property’s location approximate?
Some listing teams share only the general area, for example for privacy or land without a street address. Those listings show an approximate map point and say so on the page. Ask the agent for the exact location.
How does Addresswell pick properties for my area on the home page?
The home page uses the market you choose with “Change area”, or an approximate location from your connection if you haven’t chosen one. You can pick a different area or every market at any time.
Saving, comparing and collections
Your shortlist, comparisons and shared collections
How do I save a property?
Select the heart on a property card or listing page. You’ll be asked to sign in or create a free account first if you aren’t signed in, and the property is saved once you do.
Your saved propertiesHow do I compare properties?
Choose Compare on a listing, or open Compare in your account and pick from your saved properties. You can compare up to four side by side.
Open CompareWhat are collections?
Collections are named groups of saved properties, such as “Weekend tours” or “Near school”. Add private notes to each property for yourself.
Your collectionsCan I share a collection with someone?
Yes. Invite people as editors, who can add and remove properties, or viewers, who can only look. You can also create a share link that shows the property cards and your first name. Private notes and contact details are never shared, and you can turn the link off at any time.
How do saved searches and alerts work?
On a search, choose “Save search”. Then pick immediate or daily email alerts, or none. Alerts only include new matches from after you turned them on, and each email has a link to turn it off.
Your saved searchesWhat does following an agent do?
Following an agent from their profile keeps them in your account’s Following list, so you can find their new listings quickly.
Understanding a listing
Prices, schools, price trends, documents and more
Who provides the information on a listing?
The listing agent or team supplies the description, facts, photos and documents. Addresswell reviews listings before they’re published but can’t verify every detail, so confirm anything important with the agent.
How is the monthly payment estimate calculated?
It uses example assumptions you can change with “Adjust assumptions”: down payment, interest rate, loan term, taxes, insurance and HOA. It’s an estimate for planning, not a loan offer. A lender can give you real figures.
What does the listing history show?
Asking-price changes and status updates recorded on Addresswell since the property was listed here. It isn’t a sales or public-records history.
How are the nearest schools chosen?
They’re the closest public schools for each stage, plus the nearest college, measured in a straight line from the property’s map point. A nearby school may not serve the address, so confirm attendance boundaries with the school district.
What is the Addresswell academic score?
Our own 1–10 measure for Oklahoma public schools, built from the state’s published Academic Achievement and Academic Growth results and compared with similar schools. It isn’t a GreatSchools rating or a complete measure of a school.
How the score is calculatedWhat does “Home price trends” show?
How home prices in the area have changed over time, from the FHFA House Price Index for the ZIP code or the nearest wider area FHFA publishes. It describes the area, not the value of the property you’re viewing.
Does Addresswell tell me about flood risk?
The Flood map button opens FEMA’s official flood map for the address. Addresswell doesn’t assess flood risk or insurance needs; an insurance agent can help with those.
Where can I find disclosures, floor plans or a survey?
Any documents the listing team has shared are in the Documents section of the listing, where you can open or download them. Floor plans and plat maps or surveys also have their own buttons in the photo gallery. If you need something that isn’t there, choose “Request documents” to ask the agent.
Can I see a video or 3D tour?
When the listing team adds a video or 3D tour, it appears with the photos. Use the photo viewer to see every photo full screen.
What do Coming soon, Under contract and Sold mean?
Coming soon listings will be on the market shortly; ask the agent about early showings. Under contract means an offer has been accepted but the sale hasn’t closed. Sold, Rented and Leased listings have closed. The agent can tell you whether backup offers are possible.
Contacting agents and tours
Messages, tour requests and replies
How do I ask about a property?
On the listing page, choose “Message agent”. Your message goes only to the agent or team responsible for that listing. Addresswell doesn’t pass it to other agents or sell it as a lead.
How do I request a tour?
Choose “Request a tour” on the listing page and suggest the days and times that suit you. The agent confirms or suggests another time, and the conversation stays in your Messages.
Where do I see the agent’s reply?
In Messages, when you’re signed in with the email you used. Replies and tour updates stay together in one conversation for each property.
Open MessagesI sent a message without an account. Can I still see the replies?
Yes. Create a free account with the same email address and verify it; your earlier conversations then appear in Messages.
Can I call or text the agent instead?
Yes, when the agent publishes a phone number or email. Call, Text and Email open your own phone or email app, so those conversations don’t appear in Addresswell Messages.
The agent hasn’t replied. What should I do?
Agents manage their own replies, and Addresswell can’t answer for them. Try calling or texting if they publish a number, or message another agent from the directory.
Find an agentWhy does the message form ask about military service?
It’s optional. Some agents offer services for military buyers and veterans, so you can choose to let them know.
Selling a home
Finding a listing agent and what happens to your listing
How do I sell my home on Addresswell?
Work with a licensed listing agent. They create the listing, add the photos and details, and publish it after Addresswell reviews it. Start by finding agents who serve your home’s ZIP code.
Find a listing agentCan I list my home myself, without an agent?
Not at the moment. Listings are published by licensed real estate agents from their professional workspace, and each one is reviewed before it appears.
How do I choose a listing agent?
In the agent directory, choose Sell to see agents who represent sellers in your ZIP code. Compare their specialties, service areas, reviews, recorded sales and whether their license has been verified, then contact the ones you like.
Find a listing agentHow do I contact an agent about selling?
Agent cards and profiles show the phone number and email each agent publishes. Call, text or email them directly; Addresswell doesn’t ask for your details or pass them to anyone.
Does Addresswell charge home sellers?
No. Addresswell doesn’t charge sellers. Any commission or fees are agreed between you and your agent.
How much is my home worth?
Addresswell doesn’t estimate home values. Listing pages show price trends for the area, and a listing agent can prepare a comparative market analysis for your home.
What does Addresswell check before my home is listed?
An administrator reviews each listing before it’s published, including the agent’s license for your state and the agent’s confirmation that they have the right to advertise the property and its photos.
Can my home show as Coming soon before it’s ready?
Yes. Your agent can publish it as Coming soon with an expected date, then switch it to For sale when you’re ready for buyers.
How do I change my listing’s price or photos?
Ask your listing agent. They update the listing from their workspace, and most changes appear right away.
Can I see how many people are looking at my listing?
Your agent’s workspace shows views, saves and inquiries for each of their listings. Ask your agent to share the report with you.
Who answers buyers’ questions about my home?
Your listing agent. Messages and tour requests from the listing page go only to them, and they’ll pass on anything you need to know.
I want to rent out my home. Can Addresswell help?
Rentals are also listed by agents. In the agent directory, choose Rent to find agents who handle residential rentals in your ZIP code.

How do I find an agent?
Enter a ZIP code in the agent directory and choose what you’re looking to do: buy, sell, rent or lease. You’ll see agents who serve that ZIP code and hold a license on file for its state.
Find an agentWhat are sponsored agents?
Agents who paid for a sponsored spot in that ZIP code. Up to 3 appear above the other results, take turns at the top, and are always labelled. Sponsorship isn’t a recommendation and doesn’t verify a license.
What does “License verified” mean?
An Addresswell administrator checked the agent’s license on the state regulator’s public registry, confirmed it was active and matched it to the account. Reviews are refreshed regularly. “License on file” means the agent entered a license that hasn’t been reviewed yet.
How do reviews work?
Signed-in buyers can leave one review for each professional. Reviews are moderated before they appear. If you see a review that breaks the rules, choose Report on it.
What are “Recorded sales” on an agent’s profile?
Closings the agent submitted with evidence and Addresswell reviewed. They only cover what’s been recorded here, so a low or missing number doesn’t mean the agent has no history.
For agents: getting started
Your account, license, profile and service areas
How do I create an agent account?
Choose “Create an agent account”, enter your brokerage, choose your role from the list (or type your own), license number, state and type, specialties, phone and service area, and verify your email. Creating the account is free: set up your profile, license and ZIP codes and draft listings. Your profile, ZIP codes and listings go public once you confirm your profile details under Public profile and choose a plan in Plan & billing.
Create an agent accountIs there a free trial?
At launch, every plan is free until the launch offer’s end date shown at checkout, once per business. A card is needed to start, and the plan renews at its monthly price on that date unless you cancel before. After the launch offer ends, plans are paid from the first day.
Plans & pricingHow does license verification work?
The license you enter is pending verification and stays off your public profile until it’s confirmed. An Addresswell administrator checks the license number and your name on the state’s public registry; once they match, your profile shows the license with a License verified badge. A plan or payment never verifies a license.
What can I put on my public profile?
Your photo, professional title (picked from a list, or your own), brokerage, a biography of up to 400 words, specialties, licenses, service ZIP codes, office and contact details. Edit it under Public profile in your workspace, with a live preview. A new photo appears once an administrator approves it.
Edit your profileHow do service ZIP codes work?
With a plan (the free launch offer counts), choose up to 5 ZIP codes where you work. Once your account is live, the agent directory lists you in each one where you hold a license for its state. Your office location is separate and doesn’t add directory visibility.
ZIP codesCan I add team members?
Yes. Each plan includes seats, counting the owner: Starter 1, Pro 2 and Pro Plus 3. On the Team page, the owner invites an agent by email; the link works once, for 7 days, for an agent account with that address, and a pending invitation holds a seat. Members share the workspace’s listings, inquiries, reports and credits, and the owner can remove access at any time.

Creating, publishing and updating listings
How do I add a listing?
Choose Add listing in your workspace. The editor has seven steps: basics (property type, status and the MLS listing number), location, pricing, property details (including the number of units for multi-family), photos & media (with floor plans and documents), your contact email and phone, and review & submit. The MLS number is required for homes and land for sale, and optional for rentals and commercial listings. Your work is saved as a private draft until you submit it.
Add a listingWhen does my listing go live?
After you submit it, an Addresswell administrator reviews it, including your license for the property’s state. It’s published once approved, while your plan has an open listing slot. You get an email when it’s approved, or when it’s sent back with what to change.
What counts toward my listing limit?
Published listings use a slot: active, coming soon and under contract. Drafts, listings in review, and sold, rented, leased, withdrawn, off-market, expired or archived listings do not, and recorded past sales never use one. One property uses one slot even when it appears in more than one relevant property category. Your workspace shows your current usage.
Does updating a listing use another slot?
No. Changing its photos, description, price or other details updates the existing listing. It does not create an additional listing slot or reset its original first-published date.
How many photos and documents can I add?
Up to 50 photos per listing, 10 MB each, and up to 12 documents, 20 MB each, as PDF, PNG or JPEG files: disclosures, floor plans, plat maps or surveys and brochures. Each document can be public or private to your team.
Will editing a live listing take it offline?
Most edits, like price, photos or description, update right away. Changing the address or map point sends the listing back for review first.
Can I list a property as Coming soon or add open houses?
Yes. Choose Coming soon with an expected date in the editor, and add open house dates and times. Both appear on the listing page.
How do I mark a listing as sold or rented?
Change its status from your listings. Closed listings stop using a slot. To count a closing in your profile’s Recorded sales, submit it with evidence for review.
For agents: buyers and messages
Inquiries, Messages and tour requests
Where do buyer inquiries appear?
In Inquiries. Every message sent from one of your listings is stored for your organization and starts as New. Each inquiry and tour request is also a conversation in Messages, where you can reply.
Open InquiriesHow do tour requests work?
Buyers suggest times from the listing page. You confirm or propose another time in Messages, and the buyer sees your reply there.
Can I export my inquiries?
Yes. “Export inquiries” on the Inquiries page downloads them as a spreadsheet for your records.
Are calls and texts from my listings recorded?
Call, Text and Email open the buyer’s own phone or email app and go straight to you. Where browsing measurement is allowed, Addresswell counts the tap, but it isn’t stored as an inquiry.
For agents: promotion
Featured boosts and ZIP profile boosts
What is a featured boost?
A featured boost puts one of your published listings in the Featured rows at the top of the homepage for buyers in its area and in the Sponsored spots of searches it matches, and shows its price on the search map. It’s $79.99 for 1 month or $199.99 for 3 months, paid once, on any plan.
Does my plan include a featured boost?
Yes, once. Each workspace gets one included featured boost: 1 week on Starter, 1 month on Pro and 2 months on Pro Plus, set by your plan when you use it. Changing plans doesn’t add another. After that, featured boosts are paid.
How do featured listings take turns?
When more listings in an area are featured than there are spots, they take turns. Every hour, the featured listings with the fewest sponsored views so far go first, so a listing that’s falling behind stays up longer until it catches up. Every featured listing shows its price on the search map the whole time.
Does a featured boost renew automatically?
No. It ends on its own at the end of its term. To keep a listing featured, choose Renew in Promotions; the new term starts when the current one ends.
Where will my featured listing appear?
In the Featured rows on the homepage for buyers in its area, and in the Sponsored positions of searches it matches: two among the first twenty results, one listing per organization at a time. It’s labeled Sponsored there and shows its price on the map. An explicit property search takes priority over an approximate connection location.
Are featured boosts the same as ZIP profile boosts?
No. Featured boosts promote your listings. A ZIP profile boost sponsors your agent profile in one ZIP code’s agent directory for 14 days, with at most 3 sponsored agents per ZIP; it is labelled Sponsored and rotates with the others. Prices are set per ZIP, and you see the exact price before paying on ZIP codes in your workspace. Renewal is never automatic: you confirm it before the term ends. Pro Plus includes one ZIP profile boost each billing period. Separately, your profile can list up to 5 service ZIP codes at no extra cost, each needing a license on file for its state.
How long does a ZIP profile boost last?
At least 14 days: every ZIP boost ends at 9:00 AM Central Time (10:00 AM Eastern, 7:00 AM Pacific), and that’s when its spot opens to other agents, who get an email if they asked to be notified. You see the exact price before booking, and renewing is always your choice: confirm before the term ends, or let it end.
ZIP codesDoes a boost guarantee the top position or inquiries?
No. A featured boost provides featured placement for the chosen time. It does not guarantee a permanent top position, a particular number of views, messages or a sale. Promotions shows the sponsored views, card clicks and inquiries actually recorded.
Plans and billing
Prices, changing plans, cancelling and refunds
What do the monthly plans cost?
Starter is $49 per month, Pro is $99 per month, and Pro Plus is $149 per month. Prices are in US dollars. Your billing summary shows the amount and renewal terms before you confirm a subscription.
What is different between the plans?
The plans give you different amounts of listing space and team access, and a one-time included featured boost. Starter includes 5 listing slots, 1 seat and one featured boost of 1 week. Pro includes 10 listing slots, 2 seats and one featured boost of 1 month. Pro Plus includes 15 listing slots, 3 seats and one featured boost of 2 months, plus one 14-day ZIP profile boost each billing period when a spot is open. Every plan includes 5 service ZIP codes for each agent, and the core listing and reporting tools are shared across all three.
How do I upgrade or downgrade?
In Plan & billing, choose the plan you want. You’ll see a summary, what changes and the new monthly price before confirming. Upgrades start right away with a prorated charge; downgrades start at your next billing date. During the launch offer, switching plans keeps you free until the offer’s end date.
Plan & billingHow do I cancel?
Choose “Cancel plan” in Plan & billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. You can undo it before that date.
Plan & billingWhat happens to my listings if I cancel?
When your plan ends, your listings leave public search, but your account, listings, photos, inquiries and profile are kept. Choose a plan again and they return.
What if a payment fails?
Update your payment method in the billing portal. While a payment is past due, your listings leave public search; nothing is deleted, and they return once billing resumes.
Do you give refunds?
Cancelling stops future renewals and isn’t prorated: your plan continues through the paid month. The Refunds & cancellation policy explains every case.
Refunds & cancellation policyWhere are my invoices and receipts?
In the secure billing portal, opened from “Manage billing” in Plan & billing. Payment details are handled by our payment provider and never stored by Addresswell.
What is a seat, and does the owner count?
A seat is one person’s access to the professional workspace. The account owner counts as one seat. Starter includes 1 seat, Pro includes 2, and Pro Plus includes 3. Each person uses their own sign-in.
